Description
This saree is made of pure Khesh cotton that beautifully displays the unique texture of traditional recycling looms with intricate Bengal Kantha hand embroidery.
Body of the saree consists of maroon wine-colored base enhanced with olive pinstripes and beautiful creepers and teardrop florets hand-embroidered with thread of colors like yellow, white, and green. Pallu changes into an interesting pattern of geometric Kantha design with rhythmic rows of chevrons, triangles, and lines highlighted with a green woven strip. Borders of the saree are also decorated with hand embroidery and provide an earthy look of the handloom which can be worn at cultural functions, parties, and evenings.
